A Note on What We Do
We make covers for cars.
The long version is a little more personal.
Most cars spend more time parked than driven.
A supercar: about 30 hours a year on the road. A weekend GT: maybe 100. Even a daily driver sits still, on average, 22 hours a day.
For almost all of a car's life, it is resting.
And for almost all of those resting hours, it is dressed in something a supplier threw together for 12 dollars.
A car you chose with care, under a generic sheet.
It felt like putting a tuxedo into a trash bag.
So we started BESVOL.
Founder
Hailiang Wang
Hailiang Wang is not a fashion person. He is an engineer.
For 20 years, he manufactured the pipework of engine cooling systems — the hoses, hard pipes, and clamps that carry a car's lifeblood under heat and pressure. The kind of parts nobody ever sees, but every engine depends on.
Cooling, as it turns out, is an underappreciated art. It is the work of keeping something composed under conditions that would otherwise destroy it.
After two decades of helping engines stay cool, he became quietly interested in what happens after they do — specifically, in how a car looks once it has come to rest.
In Mandarin, Hailiang means \"the ocean's light\" — a fitting name for a man who spent 20 years keeping engines cool, and now thinks about how light falls on fabric when they do.
BESVOL was born in an era when a beautiful car can come from anywhere.
From Maranello and Stuttgart. From Woking and Gaydon. From Shanghai, Hefei, and Beijing.
We don't care where your car is from. We care whether you chose it on purpose.
A car you chose with intention deserves to be dressed with intention.
A house is never finished. The good ones grow slowly, shaped by the hands and minds that find their way to it.
BESVOL was founded in 2025. Our obsession is not.
We are looking for the people who share it — tailors, engineers, artists, collectors — wherever they happen to be.
When they find us, you will feel it in our work.
Until then, the engineer is running the house.
ATELIER
for the cars that get photographed more than driven.
SPORT
for the cars that are lived with.
Whether yours is a weekend sculpture or a daily companion, it deserves the same attention.
We make the thing a well-chosen car wears, when it is home.
From the engine, to the silhouette.
